David has many years experience in business, and is a well-known and respected Management Accountant in the industry. He has served as Director on numerous boards at Private organisations in the past and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Dy-Mark.
Further, he has presented countless papers on business-related topics to both Government and Private enterprise, been requested to speak at a number of conferences, as well as been asked to judge Small Business Awards.
David has a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and also is a qualified Chartered Practicing Accountant (CPA).
Ben is the son of founder Cyril Gillespie and has a lifetime of experience in the Industrial Coatings and Coding industry. He has held numerous positions within the company and became Managing Director in 1998 through to 2005. During this time the company grew significantly in revenue and increased its market share in numerous product and service lines.
He has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Property Studies and maintains a position on the Board of Directors with executorial duties.
Ben is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and is a Trustee of the Dy-Mark Community and Charity Foundation.
Michelle has 20 years experience in Senior Human Resources and Operations roles. She has worked in investment banking, IT, real estate and not-for-profit organisations.
Having worked in the US for 15 years, Michelle headed up the Pacific/New Zealand Human Resource team for a prominent not-for-profit organisation before moving to Australia in 2005. She brings strong HR infrastructure processes to Dy-Mark, along with the ability to develop and implement critical HR strategies, as the company strives for world-class classification.
Heading up the National HR team for Dy-Mark, Michelle is degree qualified and enjoys the challenge of striking a balance between work and family.
John originally started out his career with a Trade background in Signwriting and Painting.
He has been at Dy-Mark for 8 Years where his career with the company has seen him travel up the line from Internal Sales (6 months) to Sales Representative (2 years), and State Sales Manager (4 years) through to National Sales Manager (1 year) for the Dy-Mark Coatings Division (DC).John has 25 years coating experience in sales.
Gary has been in the Manufacturing and Print industry for 18 years. His experience combines Operational Management, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), and Quality Management Control (QA).
He leads a diverse Dy-Mark team within label print production; coating, paints and ink manufacture; and warehousing.
John has more than 35 years experience in the technical production and technical sales of Colouration and Coatings products. His career has encompassed all relevant areas of the Coatings field from Research and Development through Specification Compliance and Technical Sales service.
His experience and expertise enables him to create new products, implement product application strategies and drive technical sales support. John’s experience is backed by tertiary technical qualifications and is a member of a number of Coatings associations.
